When an after-hours power failure occurred on a Saturday at the New Westminster Provincial Courthouse, our client, a full-service electrical engineering firm, was tasked with getting temporary power in place while the outage was addressed.
This firm provides a broad range of design and power-protection offerings for clients as large as Canada’s Department of National Defense, so every job offers a chance for their crews to make or break a very big reputation.
When they received the call, the engineering company turned to Trinity Power for help – they needed equipment onsite, quickly, along with logistical assistance. It was a Saturday morning, but when the phone rang at 8 a.m., Trinity responded, pulling its team together to design a solution, source equipment and provide turnkey logistics services, including prepping the equipment and getting all needed wiring in order.
Specifically, Trinity Power took on the assignment of supplying the temporary equipment needed to power a 1600A, 600V distribution panel. Our team’s solution included a 1000kW, 480V generator, along with a 480V-600V transformer and all the required cabling. The equipment was onsite by 3 p.m., and Prime Engineering had the lights back on in the courthouse just three hours later.
Working as a team with our customers to get the job done, whenever they need it – it’s how we do business at Trinity Power.
Trinity Power was called on to provide equipment for a major construction site for a job that could last up to two years.
