What’s better than watching world champion bull riders test their mettle, up close and personal? Sharing the bleachers with global leaders in the oil and gas industry, of course!
From June 7 to 9, Calgary will host the 2016 Global Petroleum Show, featuring over 1,500 exhibiting companies and a jam-packed events schedule that includes presentations, forums, parties and the Professional Bull Riders Invitational. Of course, Trinity Power will be there (Corral – Booth 2111).
As the economic downturn continues to affect the oil and gas industry, finding new ways to do business is crucial. With the theme, “Explore and Develop”, this year’s Global Petroleum Show offers the opportunity to do just that. The show will bring together attendees from across the globe (2015 saw 50,000 attendees from over 84 countries) with the goal of providing them “a forum to discuss industry trends and collaborate on solution-oriented thought processes so they can take steps towards upgrading services, improving efficiency during times of downsizing, and repositioning business strategies to mirror the industry,” according to a recent press release.
The opportunity to connect with other industry players is what Darryl MacPherson, Trinity Power’s Temporary Power Specialist in Alberta, is looking forward to at this year’s show. “I’m excited for that opportunity,” Darryl says, “And I actually believe that the quality of people who will be there will probably be even better than last year, just because people are looking for new deals, better deals, to try and keep budgets low.”
Darryl is also looking forward to gaining some valuable industry insight: “We’re excited to learn about the market–where people are at, what kinds of projects people are looking forward to. That’s the information we’re trying to dig up.”
Will you be at the GPS show this year? Please Drop by booth 2111 to catch up with Darryl and the team, take a look at some sample equipment we brought and enter our draw.
We look forward to seeing you there.
