For most retail outlets, the weeks before Christmas are crucial revenue generators. Closing their doors unexpectedly, especially during this time, would spell big business losses.
That’s why, when a busy location of a major canadian big box retailer had to schedule a shutdown recently, they called our client – who in turn came to Trinity Power – to ensure the project would run smoothly without any impact on their point of sale.
Here’s how we did it.
Founded over 20 years ago, this client provides electrical services to a wide variety of customers, from residential to industrial. The BC-based electrical contractor does everything from electrical vault servicing to EV charging installations and more. With over two decades under their belt, their high quality work and long-term vision will see them well past the next two decades.
Our client was hired to perform planned maintenance on the main electrical room of a big box store in BC’s Lower Mainland. They needed a temporary power solution that would ensure that the busy store would remain fully operational for the extent of the servicing. Failure would lead to significant revenue loss for the store.
Working within a very short timeframe, the Trinity team sourced and delivered 2.5MW of 600V rental power, along with a customized 3000A 600V I-line panel and hundreds of feet of camlok cable with cable mats.
Because there was little wiggle room in the scheduling, the team clearly labeled all of the breakers and camlok connections to support a quick and easy setup.
We also coordinated the logistics to ensure that both the delivery and the offload and installation would be as swift and efficient as possible. Finally, we provided fueling services, coordinating the fuel delivery with the delivery of the generators.
Thanks to Trinity’s full-service and quickly-delivered solution, our client was able to complete their electrical maintenance work without causing any disruption to their client’s retail operations.
