Life and business right now are looking vastly different from what anyone could have predicted only a few months ago. Now, six weeks into the COVID-19 crisis in North America, as we reflect on the changes we have experienced, we are realizing some thank yous are in order.

First and foremost, the team at Trinity Power would like to extend our deep gratitude to healthcare professionals and essential workers for their tireless work in protecting and serving our communities. We won’t ever be able to thank you enough, but your commitment and sacrifice during this deeply challenging time will forever be remembered.

As a member of the business community, we also owe a debt of gratitude to the vendors and tools that have helped our companies maintain operations in the face of great uncertainty. While some businesses have started using new-to-them technologies in order to adapt to the current circumstances, others, like Trinity Power, have found themselves suddenly dependent on an already trusted tool.

In our case, as for many other businesses, that tool is ZOOM.

And so, we would like to thank the team at ZOOM. We have no doubt that millions of ZOOM users across the globe will share the same sentiments that our team members will share below.

Thank you ZOOM and keep up the great work!

I have realized the value of face-to-face conversations and how we take it for granted.

The virtual backgrounds have been extremely useful in hiding the total chaos that my 4 kids are creating behind me while I’m in a meeting.

It has helped us stay connected like the work family we are.

ZOOM has been an incredible tool, it’s very easy-to-use and brings me closer to my team in BC even though I’m in Ontario. It’s great seeing everyone’s faces and definitely makes you feel more connected.

I look forward to our zoom meetings on Friday. I really feel proud and connected with everyone. 38 different screens show how dedicated and connected the Trinity Team is during these difficult and uncertain times.

Our team is about hugs and high fives and while we are unable to do that with the current situation, ZOOM has helped us continue to share smiles and jokes to let our family culture continue to thrive.

We feel a little closer to team members when we have a glimpse of their home environments.

The ease of use with ZOOM can’t be emphasized enough, just fire off an invite and it’s super easy for anyone to join from almost any kind of device, even if they’re unfamiliar with the platform. The day to day hasn’t changed a whole lot for us here in the shop, but it’s definitely nice to see the office staff we haven’t seen in awhile, and you can tell they’re happy to see familiar faces and communicate that way.

I think this is really going to change how we keep in touch with the other shops and remote workers, even if it’s a quick chat it seems more people are leaning towards the video call now.

It is a bit strange, I feel more connected than ever with new members of our team and those that work in remote branches.

Being able to connect with team members that are 2000 miles away at a push of a button has brought our company closer together. As well as using it to see friends and family.
